Sparred during silat training earlier (oh man I am so out of shape). Kicked too low at one point and the joint of one of my toes slammed right into my opponent's kneecap. OW. I managed to finish the match, but now I'm limping a little. Applying ice on in now, it will recover before the trip to Batam. Hope I don't have to go get it check out. They keep sending me to the same doc whenever I go to the university health center and when I see her she'll go "Silat again?" and start tsking and saying it's not good for me. Maybe she's right...

Anyway the team's heading for Batam, Indonesia (it's actually just an hour away by ferry) for a friendly match against one of the silat schools there. I hope whoever I'm fighting won't kick my ass too badly. Ah well. There'll be plenty of time for fun too, so kinda looking forward to it. Even if it will drain what's left of my budget this month...I seriously need a job.

I'm not really here. Really.
